Because every railing system is unique, we do not quote by the linear foot. Instead, we base our estimates on your layout, post materials, mounting preferences, cable size, and other project-specific details.
How to Request Your Cable Railing Estimate
1. Download the Estimate Form
Start by downloading the SCS Railing or Trellis Estimate Form. This form is designed to help you organize your project details clearly and efficiently.
2. Sketch Your Railing Layout
Draw a simple plan view of your railing perimeter. Be sure to include all relevant details such as:
- Post material
- Railing height (36" or 42")
- Mounting style (surface mount or fascia mount)
- Color preference (for aluminum systems)
- Deck fascia size
- Cable size
3. Send Us Your Drawing and Details
Estimate Submission Requirements
All estimate requests must be submitted using the official Stainless Cable Solutions (SCS) Estimate Form.
- The form must be fully completed, with all required fields filled out.
- Select the appropriate product line by choosing the correct radio buttons.
- A project drawing is required and must be placed at the bottom of the form.
- The entire submission must be contained on one page only.
- Trellis systems must be drawn out. SCS is not a design firm.
Incomplete forms, missing information, incorrect selections, or multi-page submissions will not be reviewed or processed.
If SCS does not receive a fully completed and properly formatted Estimate Form, we are unable to provide a project estimate.
